About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join a specialist setting in Hemel Hempstead that delivers high-quality therapeutic support to children with complex needs. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in enhancing pupils' engagement, independence, sensory regulation and functional skills in both classroom and therapeutic environments.

This part-time position offers flexibility alongside a rewarding chance for an Occupational Therapist to make a significant impact. There is also scope for the role to develop further within the setting for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake occupational therapy assessments and interpret findings to inform intervention planning.Deliver targeted interventions that support sensory needs, motor skills, daily living and participation.Measure progress and outcomes to inform personalised programmes.Collaborate closely with teaching staff, SEN teams, families and external professionals.Provide clinical input into EHCP reviews and multi-disciplinary planning.Support staff development by sharing therapeutic strategies and knowledge.Requirements
