Description

Mental Health Support Worker

Location: Bristol

Hours: 37.5 and x1 sleep a week (sleep in optional)

Salary: GBP31,155.54 including 1 sleep–in per week

Contract: Temp to perm available

Embark on an exciting journey with a leading mental health charity as a Support Navigator! In this dynamic contract role, you'll be the guiding light for individuals navigating the complexities of community–based services. You will be working directly with complex mental health issues, with the opportunity to pick up a sleep in shift a week with a competitive hourly rate of GBP12.21 per sleep (across 12 hours – GBP146.52 per shift).

Standout Highlights:

Manage a caseload of service users with Learning disabilities, complex mental health needs, and neurodivergence. Collaboratively create, update, and review risk assessments and support plans. Support with crisis intervention & management. Work in the community across x2 services and sometimes within people s homes. Preferred Requirements:

Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders. Strong problem–solving abilities to navigate complex systems and find solutions. Empathy and compassion to provide a caring and supportive experience. Familiarity with community–based services and resources. Proficiency in data management and record–keeping. Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant experience in a social service, healthcare, or community–based role Demonstrated commitment to advocating for underserved populations Excellent organizational and time management skills You will receive from BRC:
