Locum Consultant in Oncology – UK–Wide Opportunities Medacs Healthcare

Job Title: Locum Consultant Clinical Oncologist – covering breast and urology sub–sites, including renal, bladder, and prostate.

Location: South West England, UK

Rate: 95– 103ph, PAYE only.

Contract Type: Locum

Details: Start ASAP until at least mid–February 2026. Mon–Fri 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible); expected on–site at least 4 days/week with 1 day remote option.

Comfortable prescribing systemic anti–cancer treatments for breast and urology cancers.Ability to provide radiotherapy cover for these tumour sites.Ideally fully independent, with support from wider teams but without direct supervision.Job Plan: Cover 2 MDTs, 5–6 clinics depending on radiotherapy commitmentsRota: No on–call commitments

About the Role

As a locum Consultant in Oncology, you'll provide expert care and contribute to the delivery of high–quality services.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

MBBS or equivalent medical degreeFull GMC registration with a licence to practiseA current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check – or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration processUK Right to WorkStrong communication and teamworking skills

Desirable:

CCT in Oncology (or within 6 months of achieving it)
