Children's complex Healthcare Assistant

Pay Rate: GBP13.50–GBP18.00 per hour part time days available– 8am–8pm 2–3 shifts per week Alternate weekends required

We are looking for compassionate and experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our team and provide specialist care for a young boy in his own home.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to support a 14–year–old boy with complex clinical needs. You'll work as part of a 2:1 care package, providing support both at home and during school, helping him enjoy the activities he loves while ensuring his health and wellbeing remain the priority.

He enjoys interactive sensory toys, animals, messy play, watching Disney films, trips to the cinema and bowling when he's feeling well, and is a keen Wolves supporter. The family also enjoys holidays and day trips, and you'll have the opportunity to accompany them to provide support.

What you'll be doing–

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide personal care, clinical support and companionship, while responding confidently to his changing needs. This role requires someone who can stay calm under pressure, think quickly and respond appropriately to changing clinical needs.

Essential Experience–

Hands–on experience supporting children or adults with complex care needs Respiratory care experience Severe epilepsy management Administration of rescue medication Desirable Experience–

Gastrostomy (PEG) Oxygen therapy Suction and deep suction If you have relevant complex care experience, we'd still encourage you to apply.
