Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP47,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The IFA provides high-quality foster placements and bespoke packages of care for looked after children, with child-centred decision-making at the heart of everything they do. About the roleYou will be responsible for:

Undertaking direct work with children to ensure their wishes and feelings inform care planningSupport and supervise foster carers, empowering them to provide stable and nurturing placementsContribute to the recruitment and assessment of foster parentsWork collaboratively as part of a close-knit, supportive teamDemonstrate forward planning, flexibility, and calm decision-making in complex situationsWhat our client is looking for:A qualified Social Worker with registration with Social Care WalesStrong people skills, with the ability to motivate and empower foster carersConfidence to work on your own initiative while valuing supervision and teamworkA child-focused, reflective, and flexible approach to practiceWhat's on offer:GBP35,000 - GBP47,000 per annum, depending on experience30 days annual leave plus bank holidaysHybrid working (based from the Cardiff office with flexibility for home working)Company pensionOn-site parkingSupportive management and a genuinely positive working cultureLocation: Cardiff (CF24) own transport required to visit carers and children.
