Description

Former Tenant Arrears Assistant – Fixed Term for 6 Months

Salary up to £28, 826 per annum

The successful candidate will provide high quality administrative support to the Income Team to ensure effective former tenant arrears collection. The role is key to supporting the efficient implementation of income procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

*

Helping to maintain accurate former tenant rent accounts.

*

Liaising with external agencies and former customer representatives as necessary.

*

Prepare standard letters, notices, rent statements and correspondence related to former tenant arrears.

*

Handle routine former tenant enquiries about balances, payment methods, and account queries by phone, email, or in writing

*

Assisting in the management of Direct Debit payments and returns

*

Contacting former customers using a variety of methods in order to manage debt on former rent accounts where necessary.

*

Supporting other areas of Income collection where necessary

The successful candidate will have:

*

Proven experience in an administrative role

*

Proven ability in a customer facing environment

*

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*

Has a strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

*

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)

*

Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

*

Has the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

*

Ideally, previously worked in a debt recovery role
