Educational Psychologist – Specialist SEMH School

Academics Ltd are working with a highly regarded specialist SEMH school in Canterbury who are seeking a skilled and compassionate Educational Psychologist to join their dedicated multidisciplinary team. The school supports children and young people with significant Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, offering a therapeutic, holistic and highly personalised approach to education.

Academics Ltd are working with a highly regarded specialist SEMH school in Canterbury who are seeking a skilled and compassionate Educational Psychologist to join their dedicated multidisciplinary team. The school supports children and young people with significant Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, offering a therapeutic, holistic and highly personalised approach to education.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting high–quality psychological assessments and observations

Collaborating with SENCOs, therapists, leaders and teaching staff to design effective support plans

Delivering evidence–based interventions for pupils with SEMH needs

Supporting staff through consultation, training and reflective practice

Contributing to whole–school wellbeing strategies and the development of therapeutic approaches

We are looking for an Educational Psychologist who:

Has experience working within SEMH, trauma, or specialist education settings

Is reflective, collaborative and committed to inclusive practice

Communicates effectively and builds strong, supportive relationships

Brings creativity, resilience and a child–centred mindset

160 – 220 per day, Mon–Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only

You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply – no Visa sponsorship

On site parking included

Degree in Psychology – BPS Accredidation
