Job Title: Contact Supervisor / Childrens Support Worker

Location: Reading

Pay: GBP15.00 per hour and upwards

Hours: Flexible days or nights, as much or as little as you want

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Contact Supervisors / Childrens Support Workers to support children and families in and around Reading. This role involves supervising family contact sessions and/or providing direct support to children in a safe, professional, and child–focused manner.

Key Responsibilities

Supervising contact between children and family members in line with care plans

Ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and emotional needs of children are always prioritised

Providing clear, accurate reports following contact sessions

Working professionally with families, social workers, and other professionals

Offering practical and emotional support to children as required

Essential Requirements

Experience working with children and families

A calm, professional, and empathetic approach

Strong communication and observation skills

Ability to work independently and follow safeguarding procedures

Driver preferred but not essential
