Description

High View operates across several Residential Units (HVC), and provides an outreach (HVON) service. The post holder will be expected to operate across all services but will be based at 66 Plaistow Lane.

Dependant on qualifications and experience (NHS equivalent- experienced Band 7 to Band 8b)

24 hours per week

Main Purpose

The Clinical Psychologist has a senior role within the psychological services at High View and will be jointly responsible for their interface with partners internally and externally. They will provide a qualified psychology service and manage clinical responsibilities to adult Clients with complex neurological conditions, neurological impairments, psychological issues and associated physical disabilities. This includes working collaboratively with colleagues to create, initiate and test treatment plans. The post holder will be responsible for collaboratively working on and transforming rehabilitation services to meet the needs of High View and its Clients. They will provide support within the Psychology team, working with the Therapy Team Leads to support the initiatives of the organisation, driving a culture of safety, clinical effectiveness and continued improvement for the Client experience. The post holder is expected to ensure all the activities undertaken within the Psychology services are subject to robust governance arrangements. The role is jointly responsible for the development for the therapy staff, working in partnership with the Therapy Team Leads. Essential Requirements:

Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a Consultation psychologist qualification.
