The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an exciting Clinical Nurse Manager opportunity with a well–established and forward–thinking healthcare provider in Longsight, Manchester.

About the Role
As Clinical Nurse Manager, you will work closely with the wider management and multidisciplinary team to ensure consistently high standards of clinical care.
You will provide visible and supportive leadership to the nursing team, helping staff develop their clinical skills, confidence and knowledge while ensuring that residents receive safe, effective and genuinely person–centred care.
This is a hands–on leadership position where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to both the people receiving care and the development of the nursing team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strong, supportive and visible clinical leadership to the nursing team.Develop nursing staff through clinical supervision, appraisals, mentoring and ongoing support.Lead and participate in staff reviews, team meetings and effective induction programmes.Plan, coordinate and deliver high–quality, person–centred nursing care.Promote consistently high clinical and nursing standards across the service.Work collaboratively with the Pharmacist to ensure safe and effective medicines management.Monitor and maintain high standards of clinical documentation and record keeping.Support the ongoing development and improvement of the service.Work effectively alongside the wider multidisciplinary team.Contribute to the continued development of the service and its clinical practices.Participate in the on–call management rota.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse who has the confidence and leadership skills to support and develop a nursing team.
You will ideally have experience within mental health, complex care, nursing homes, specialist care or a similar clinical environment, together with a genuine commitment to delivering high–quality care.
You will be a confident communicator who can build positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues and external professionals.
Essential Requirements
Current NMC registration.Strong clinical knowledge and nursing leadership skills.Experience supporting, mentoring or developing nursing staff.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.A commitment to delivering safe, compassionate and person–centred care.A proactive approach to continuous improvement.

The service is a well–established nursing care environment providing specialist support to adults with a range of complex needs.
