Care Assistant Care and Support - Gowrie House Care Home Contract: Full Time and Part- Time

Salary: GBP12.70 Per Hour

Gowrie House Care Home is a warm and welcoming 60-bed home in the heart of Kirkcaldy, offering high-quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care. Our dedicated team plays a vital role in ensuring residents feel supported, comfortable, and truly at home.

We are now recruiting compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our friendly team, with vacancies available on both Dayshift and Nightshift. Whether you are an experienced carer or looking to begin a meaningful new career in care, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference in people's lives.

What We Offer

GBP12.70 per hour Full-time or part-time contracts (minimum 22 hours per week) Paid PVG, Pension scheme, Uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract) Ongoing training and support to achieve SVQ Level 2 or aboveYour RoleAs a Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care and support to residents, helping with daily routines such as personal care, mobility, mealtimes, and activities that promote wellbeing and independence. You will build positive relationships with residents, offer companionship, and be someone they can rely on for support and encouragement - whether during the day or through the night.

What We're Looking ForYou may already hold an SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or be working towards it, or you might simply have a natural caring nature and want to learn. What matters most is your reliability, empathy, and commitment to providing excellent care.
