Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care including washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and assisting with mobility and eating/drinking, respecting each resident's preferences and privacySupport rehabilitation goals: encouraging and assisting residents with exercises, daily living skills, and mobility as guided by nursing and therapy teamsDeliver specialised, empathetic care to residents in the dementia unit – promoting familiarity, comfort, and meaningful engagementAssist with meals, snacks, and hydration support; help with feeding where required, following dietary plans and care instructionsObserve resident's health, mood, and behaviour; report changes, concerns, or incidents promptly to the nurse in charge and maintain accurate, clear recordsHelp create a safe, clean, and supportive environment; assist with keeping communal and personal spaces tidy and safeWork positively as part of the team, communicating respectfully with colleagues, residents, and family membersFollow all home policies, health and safety, infection control, and confidentiality guidelines at all times

What We Are Looking For

Experience in rehabilitation care is preferred, but not essential as long as you have experience in Adult care. A caring, patient, and respectful nature; genuine desire to support vulnerable peopleGood communication skills and ability to listen to residents and their needsReliable, trustworthy, and able to work well within a teamWillingness to learn and follow care plans and instructionsEligibility to work in the UK; willingness to complete required background checks and training
