Are you a patient, resilient, and nurturing individual with a passion for supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

We are working with a welcoming and inclusive specialist SEND school in Wythenshawe, seeking a dedicated SEND Behaviour Support Worker to join their supportive team. SEMH Behaviour Support Worker Role and Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH and behavioural needsAssist the class teacher with lesson delivery, behaviour support, and interventions tailored to individual needsPromote positive routines, emotional regulation, and resilience throughout the school dayContribute to progress tracking and communicate effectively with staff and familiesSEMH Behaviour Support Worker – What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people with SEMH/behavioural needs (in school, care, or youth work)A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to managing behaviourStrong communication and relationship–building skillsAn understanding of SEMH and SEND strategiesA relevant qualification in support, care, or education is desirable but not essentialSEMH Behaviour Support Worker – To Be Eligible You Must:
