Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant BL4, Bolton
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming primary school in the BL4 area of Bolton who are seeking a calm, patient and resilient Teaching Assistant to provide additional support to pupils who may experience behavioural, emotional or social barriers to learning.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships with children and helping them develop confidence, independence and positive attitudes towards school.
The role will involve:
Providing 1:1 and small–group supportSupporting pupils with behaviour and emotional regulationHelping children remain focused and engagedEncouraging positive choices and behaviourSupporting pupils during classroom activitiesWorking alongside teachers and support staffHelping children develop social and emotional skillsReinforcing classroom routines and expectationsSupporting learning and inclusion across the schoolThe successful candidate will:
Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant, Education, Childcare, Youth Work or similar qualification ORHave at least 6 months' experience working with children in the UK, professionally or voluntarilyBe calm, patient and consistentHave experience or a strong interest in behaviour supportBe able to build trusting relationships with childrenHave excellent communication skillsBe committed to safeguardingTradewind Recruitment can offer:
