What you will do:

Perform high-quality mammography examinations to ensure adherence to NHS Breast Screening Programme standards.

Accurately handle patient identification, positioning, and image acquisition while maintaining radiation safety and quality standards.

Deliver compassionate patient care, guiding individuals through sensitive procedures with empathy and professionalism.

Engage in quality assurance, audit, and equipment checks to ensure compliance with national screening standards.

Requirements:

A degree or diploma in Radiography or equivalent.

A postgraduate certificate in Mammography or equivalent.

Evidence of continued professional development.

Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Knowledge of the NHS Breast Screening Programme standards and Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IRMER).

Enhanced DBS clearance.

A valid driving licence.
