Autism Support Assistant - Secondary - Newham
Location: Newham, East London Salary: GBP97 - GBP115 per day

Do you want to make a real difference for vulnerable children? Are you passionate about supporting those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? Remedy is seeking a compassionate Autism Support Worker to help students in a Newham secondary school reach their potential.
About the Role: You'll provide 1:1 or small group support for students with ASD, aiding their learning, emotional well-being, and social skills in a school setting. This hands-on role focuses on inclusion, independence, and progress tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored support for communication, social, and behavioural needs.Assist with IEPs and classroom activities.Promote independence and self-confidence.Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and professionals.Monitor progress and ensure safety. Requirements:
Experience with ASD or SEN children.Understanding of how ASD impacts learning/behaviour.Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching) desirable.Flexible, positive attitude.
