Assistant Service Manager

Hours–37

Rate– 25.25 per hour umbrella

Location– Fully onsite

Park View ,Monkspath Hall Road ,Solihull ,B91 3LU

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Service Manager to join a dedicated team within Adult Social work. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high–quality services, managing a varied caseload, and working closely with colleagues, partner agencies, service users, and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and prioritise a diverse workload effectively.Deliver high–quality assessments, interventions, and support plans.Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies.Maintain accurate and up–to–date records in line with organisational requirements.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and professional standards.Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Relevant professional qualification and registration (where applicable).Proven experience within sector/service area .Strong communication and interpersonal skills.The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance, and best practice.A commitment to delivering excellent outcomes and high–quality service provision.
