Description

We have an opportunity for a Leaving Care Social Worker at Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

This is a 3-month assignment initially, paid at GBP33.30 umbrella.

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people?Stoke-on-Trent City Council is looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join our Corporate Parenting Young People's 14-17 Team.This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive team committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for our cared-for children and care leavers.In this role, you will lead the Pathway Planning process, ensuring that young people are fully supported in their transition to adulthood.You will provide high-quality advice, guidance, and practical support, helping them to realise their aspirations and reach their full potential.You will play a crucial role in implementing the corporate parenting principles, working closely with young people to provide them with stability, security, and opportunities to succeed. We offer GBP250 new starter bonus and/or GBP250 referral bonus for your friends/colleagues.

Requirements of the role:

Qualified Social WorkerFully Social Work England registered3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)Must have significant experience working in this setting e.g. extensive knowledge of pathway planning etc. Please contact Lindsey Morgan asap to discuss in more detail.
