Description
We have an opportunity for a Leaving Care Social Worker at Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
This is a 3-month assignment initially, paid at GBP33.30 umbrella.
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people?Stoke-on-Trent City Council is looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join our Corporate Parenting Young People's 14-17 Team.This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive team committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for our cared-for children and care leavers.In this role, you will lead the Pathway Planning process, ensuring that young people are fully supported in their transition to adulthood.You will provide high-quality advice, guidance, and practical support, helping them to realise their aspirations and reach their full potential.You will play a crucial role in implementing the corporate parenting principles, working closely with young people to provide them with stability, security, and opportunities to succeed. We offer GBP250 new starter bonus and/or GBP250 referral bonus for your friends/colleagues.
Requirements of the role:
Qualified Social WorkerFully Social Work England registered3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)Must have significant experience working in this setting e.g. extensive knowledge of pathway planning etc. Please contact Lindsey Morgan asap to discuss in more detail. We are offering GBP250 joining bonus for new starters with Reed.Alternatively, we are offering GBP250 if you refer a friend or colleague and they are placed successfully into this or any other QSW role.
