Designed to help a person to sit up in bed, the Pillow Lifter helps to raise and lower with ease. Electrically operated, the Pillow Lifter is a lightweight, aluminium backrest that sits on top of the existing mattress and can be comfortably left in place when lying in bed. Can be securely strapped in place if required. Powered by a low voltage transformer that has back-up batteries to enable temporary use of the unit in the event of a power failure. Easy to operate with a simple hand control, the Pillow Lifter is quiet in use and allows angles from 5degrees to 65degrees. It comes complete with a mattress pad that secures to the frame. Pad has a four-way stretch, waterproof cover and a fitted polycotton sheet with a sewn-in pocket to place a pillow - ensuring it remains in place when elevated.
