Terry is a typical salesman, says he’ll do something, gives you his word and doesn’t deliver the service. The subcontractor paver was amazing as were the labourers. Absolutely amazing job from them. The rest of the job was a disaster. The ripped up decking was left on my garden for almost 3 weeks, 33 paving stones were left on the grass for over 10 days until my husband moved everything onto the front drive. I Put them on Facebook and slowly got rid of the slabs. We made 12 trips to the tip with all the decking and other materials which was all supposed to be included in the price. I made the mistake of giving Terry almost all the money after the block paving was completed. Job was quoted for £6’200.00. I paid him £4’100 so he could get the materials the next day. Which he did, the delivery was here and the crew so I wasn’t worried. He asked me to give the paver £700.00 which I did. Then he asked me for another £1’00.00. Which left me with £400.00. Trying to pin Terry down to finishing the job was impossible. He promised to arrange a grabber truck to pick up the wood, then he promised a skip, then he promised labourers to move the wood. My poor husband had to do it with a little help from me, so not much. After a few broken promises Terry said I could keep the last £400.00 because He had caused a lot of inconvenience. I was more bothered about the calls he ignored and the fact my husband had to complete the clean up in his own, instead of a crew of 3 Labourers. So I would not recommend this person. I saw no invoice, nothing to prove what he said, all the job details. He was supposed to email a work schedule and an invoice. So I have no proof of who the company is, I have his telephone number that’s all. He even said he would put right any damage to the back garden after the rubbish was moved. Now he just ignores my calls and messages. Paver was amazing, excellent tradesman but he was subcontracted.
