Guitarist Wanted – Established Covers Band (Bristol/Bath/Glos)

Description

We’re an established local covers band looking for a new guitarist. After three glorious years our awesome guitarist Matt will be leaving early next year, so we’re keen to find someone who enjoys playing similar music and who’ll fit well into the line-up.

We’re a friendly four-piece:
Susy – lead vocals
Lynne – bass & backing vocals
Jack – drums & backing vocals

We take pride in what we do and are looking for someone with a similar level of commitment and passion. We strive to play to the best of our ability but also value the friendship and camaraderie that make being in a band so much fun.

Our current set includes songs by AC/DC, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Blondie, Guns N’ Roses, The Killers, Billy Idol, Kasabian and many more. As we’re a four-piece, you’ll need to be comfortable covering both rhythm and lead parts. Backing vocals would be a big bonus. We’re always open to new material, including songs you already know that would fit our set and go down well at gigs.

We typically play around two paid gigs a month, mainly pubs and clubs across Bristol, Bath, Glos and surrounding areas, with the occasional function and festival. We currently rehearse at Factory Studios in Bristol, mostly on Wednesday evenings.
