Yasuma MartinD28 copy acoustic guitar

This is one of the guitars manufactured by the Japanese Yasuma guitar company where they deconstructed a Martin D28 and copied it wholesale. It was such a faithful reproduction that Martin sued them for copyright infringement putting them out of business so this is one of the so called lawsuit guitars. Mine was purchased new in the mid 70's in Soho and comes in a quality hard case which has protected it over the years.. I have played original Martins and this stacks up well against them having the same deep resonance and is often mistaken for its original. The guitar has never been gigged so is in decent condition apart from a couple of small blemishes. Just been fitted with a set of Martin strings which give it a bright responsive sound. Only reason for selling is because I also have a Taylor and can't justify having two instruments. Spec: sitka spruce top, rosewood body, ebony fingerboard, fully adjustable truss rod. An original Martin D28 was recently sold in a Greenwich village guitar shop for $45000 to a Mr Bob Dylan!
