Description
While this guitar has lived a life, its neck is perfectly set up, the action is just right and the saddle is at full height. I have had a lot of fun playing it, but have too many old yammies.
The good: the neck has been reset (using the steam technique). It has been strung with 12s and under tension for some weeks with no deflection. As a result, the action is great. The frets are levelled and polished, and the tuners - at some point in its past replaced - have been upgraded with lovely open back Grover Sta-tites (18:1). The saddle is at full height meaning the strings are the correct height off the sound board. And it has that lovely 180 sound. There are no cracks in the body.
The meh: it's been bumped, scratched and dinged. If you want a looker, this isn't your guitar.
People ask silly prices for FG180s without saying whether it needs a neck reset. I have priced this sensibly as the neck is good. Pick up only and please try before you buy.
