Description
Rare 1983 Violet Burst Yamaha SG-3000s, top Yamaha SG model. Built with solid mahogany body, maple cap, and built with a thru body mahogany neck, and kitted out with a black ebony fingerboard. Ornate abalone split wing markers on a bound fretboard. 2 humbuckers and a 2 vol, 2 tone arrangement with a jack socket in the front. The body of the guitar is inlaid with abalone on the outer rim in addition to the binding. The electrics are accessible from the 2 cavities in the back covered by 2 black plastic covers. Guitar has been used but is overall clean on the body and neck and there are no breaks. Some faint fogging of the lacquer which is common in the SG models and minor tarnishing to the brass plated hardware
