Description
For sale is my stunning condition BB Taylor. It was manufactured in 2002 in Taylor’s California factory and has been mine for the past 4 years.
It’s in remarkably good condition with no cracks, splits, chips or signs of heavy use. No bridge lifting or top swelling. The fretboard is excellent undamaged condition and there are only very slight signs of fret wear on the lowest 3 frets, probably due to the fact that I have been using it mainly for slide.
Strings are D’Addario 80/20 bronze 12 to 53. Action at 12th fret is 2.3mm on the low E and 1.4mm high E.
It’s been recently set up and had a new TUSQ tm. bridge saddle fitted. Ebony bridge pins replaced original plastic pins.
The top has matured over 24 years to a gorgeous honey colour and the tone is deep and warm with clean bright highs.
The original gig bag is in equally clean and undamaged condition.
This is a genuinely reluctant sale, and am only selling to make space for, and to help fund, a 3 series Taylor.
With that in mind I will consider a p/x if anyone has a more expensive Taylor. (Or similar)
Because there is no hard case I will not post.
