I THOUGHT THE ONLY THING MISSING WAS ELECTRICS, SO I ADDED AN UNDER BODY PIEZO PICKUP ALLOWING IT TO BE PLUGGED INTO AN AMP, NO BATTERIES NEEDED, JUST PLUG IN AND PLAY. SUPER JOB AND HAVE DONE THIS TO A LOAD OF ACOUSTICS. NICE ADDITION TO HAVE.
I HAVE SET THIS UP WITH FRETS DRESSED, ACTION LOWERED AND NEW SET OF LIGHT STRINGS ADDED AND IT SOUNDS FANTASTIC.

This Seagull Excursion Nat Folk Solid Spruce SG is a more stripped back version of the S6 Cedar Folk. This particular version of the Excursion acoustic guitar has been exclusively for the European market.

Expertly made in Canada

As with every Seagull Guitar this acoustic has been expertly built in Canada. Merchant City Music are now happy to be selling these brilliant value instruments in our Glasgow shop as well as on-line. Compared to the Coastline version there are some differences. Firstly you get a Solid Spruce Top rather than a Solid Cedar. It also features a more traditional nut width. The same as found on the S6 Slim guitars. The Seagull Excursion Nat Folk Solid Spruce also has a very stripped back look. You sacrifice some of the ornate cosmetics found on the more expensive acoustic guitars. What it doesn't sacrifice though is tone.

Solid Top Seagull Excursion Folk

The Seagull Excursion Nat Folk Solid Spruce has a fairly compact body. It still projects very well. This will be helped by the laminated wild cherry back and sides. The more compact folk sized body makes it more comfortable for many people to play. If you struggle with a dreadnought sized body then have a look at the Seagull Excursion Nat Folk. Instead of the usual inlay-ed rosette decoration round the soundhole Seagull have used a brand stamping. It looks terrific. It suits the body finish of this steel strung acoustic guitar perfectly.
The Seagull Excursion Nat Folk Solid Spruce is excellent value for money. To get a quality solid topped acoustic guitar made in North America at this price is simply astounding.
