Description
Ibanez Steve Vai signature model, JEM7DBK, built in Japan and discontinued in 2004.
Please note this model has different specifications to more common JEM models, in particular DiMarzio Breed pickups, and an even thinner neck, the Super Wizard profile. This model has the Edge Pro bridge. FujiGen serial number is on the rear of the headstock.
All hardware is as original EXCEPT the strap buttons, which had stripped with age. I replaced them with Schaller strap-locks last year.
Been gigged a fair few times, edges of the finish on the body have small chips in several places.

Pros:
Neck is paper thin
Pickup voicing is versatile and fantastic for rock
Quite rare
Cons:
The finish was ugly even before I gigged it
The original hardcase and certificate are long gone

I've had this thing for nearly 15 years and gigged it several times, but I don't really play at all any more, so it's time to say goodbye. I hope you can love it as much as I did.
