In excellent condition, new strings, selling due to buying an electric bass and this one just doesn’t get played as much now. Can drop off nearby (Swansea, Neath, Llanelli etc.) for a tenner
Ibanez have been enthusiastic acoustic bass builders for years and put out extremely good quality instruments for a very agreeable price. This AEB8E has a large body to provide not only huge bottom end response but also a degree of resonance. You can really feel these notes as you play!
This bass is made with a Spruce top and a mahogany back and sides. There's an under saddle piezo pickup and an Ibanez SPT preamp to deliver those big tones in a live context too. Alongside the usual 1/4"output sits an XLR out for balanced and noise free connecting to devices such as a mixing desk or interface.
Ibanez SPT preamp has a 3-band tone control and Shape control along with a built-in electronic tuner . In addition to the 1/4" output jack, a balanced XLR jack is equipped for direct connection to PA. AA battery operation would avoid the risk you cannot find replacement battery.
