GUITAR ELECTRIC VINTAGE 1960 HAGSTROM VIKING

Description

Made in Sweden (not Asian reissue) late 1960 vintage Hagstrom Viking right handed semi-hollow body 6 string electric guitar, in tobacco lacquered finish, with 2 F holes and double cutaway, white edge piping front and rear. The tailpiece has the original hagstrom label, but the scratchplate and bridge have been upgraded, along with the 2 pickups, which are from a Epiphone Casino guitar. It has a 3 way selector switch, with 2 volume and 2 tone knobs and all electrics work great. The straight and true neck has 24 frets with white dot markers. The headstock has the original tuning keys, with Hagstrom gold lettering on the front. There is some minor lacquer cracking and the odd minor ding as you would expect from a guitar over 50 years old. So if you are into classic vintage guitars then this is for you, with notable Hagstrom players Elvis Presley, Kurt Cobain and Frank Zappa. A great looking rare guitar, in tune and ready to be played or demonstrated when collecting in person from Highfield, Southampton SO17 postcode area.
