Godin A12 twelve string guitar- Price drop- condition and tone excellent

Description

VERY GOOD CONDITION. -VERY GOOD TONE- ONE OF EASIEST 12 STRINGS TO PLAY

Brian May played one in Freddy Mercury tribute concert.

Sounds great plugged in, really very impressive. Check out videos online.

Being sold on behalf of a guitarist who looks after his guitars extremely well ( much better than me ) and leads a successful guitar group.
He knows the sound quality of this 12 string which I was unaware of. It is at its best plugged in so would suit a semi professional guitarist / open Mike fan / or group member.

A high end electro acoustic 12 string guitar from Godin.
Solid cedar top, silver leaf maple body.
Richlite soundboard and bridge.
.The double chamber in the body lets it be played acoustically producing a pleasing chimy mandolin tone.
Plugged in it is something else with a rich deep base, mids and trebles
that has made this model of guitar the choice of Brian May for a major concert commemorating Freddy Mercury.
Serial number 19323140 which makes it 2019.
Comes with a Godin gigbag plus a deluxe temperature controlled TRIC/ Godin case adapted by

Famous for being easy to play , electric guitar playability, this guitar has a good action and videos online show it being finger picked, flat picked, strummed and even used as a lead guitar.
For even lower action there is enough saddle height to allow this.
Reviews are very complimentary about its ease of play and acoustic guitar like tone.

Condition is VERY good.
It has been hanging on a wall but has been lightly played. No scratches, dents or cracks I could spot. Any marks I spotted disappeared with a light rub with a cloth.
One a bit more stubborn 90% gone with a light polish and is only a superficial finish spot that could easily be polished out making the guitar approaching mint.

For its age it’s VERY very good and many new demonstrator guitars in a retail shop would be in similar or worse condition. It comes with a Godin gig bag and also an A-12 adapted deluxe TRIC / Godin high impact foam bag that will protect against impacts and offers temperature protection from minus 35 to 65 degrees centigrade. The TRIC acronym stands for thermally regulated instrument case and they are being sold currently at £175 and £189.
The very good condition plus the extra deluxe case and gigbag gives the basis for the £1195 price. Guitar to be played and examined in Otley/ Ilkley area before purchase on a cash basis if the guitar sounds as good to you as the online demos suggest. If not too far away
and keen to buy a half way meeting could be arranged.
Seller is a guitarist/ singer and not a dealer so price based on a fair price rather than maximum profit. Older information quotes much lower levels but current new prices have risen to circa £1640 to £2141 and with the inclusion of the extra case this will probably be the lowest price/ deal for a used Godin A12 in this very good condition e.g. a seller from Japan wants £1500 for a guitar with small marks.

Price drop by £100 to £1095
Further price drop to £995
Great sound, easy to play and great condition.
Someone will get a real bargain.
If it was good enough for Brian May………
