Gibson J-25 Sunburst 1983 Acoustic Guitar.

You don't see many of these about, I can only find one other for sale in the UK and it’s much more expensive. This was Gibson's attempt to rival the Ovation bowl back guitars in the early 80s.
They weren't considered popular back then so pretty much fizzled out.

However, pick one up nearly 45 years later and they sound amazing. A deep and punchy sound. A couple of people I know over the last few years have picked it up and been amazed at the sound it produces.

I've owned this guitar around 10 years. I had a bridge doctor fitted about 5 years ago to remedy slight bellying. This work was done by the renowned Luthier Stuart Palmer in Doncaster, who also more recently setup the guitar for me last year.

I'm selling this guitar purely because of a house move towards the end of this year. I'II have less guitar storage availability at the other end, so need to lose a couple.

Comes complete with hard case.
