A Fernandes ‘The Revival’ RST-50 guitar in translucent red (note that
the shade of red changes, depending on light conditions - very cool!).
Based on the headstock logo, this guitar was made between 1982-1990.
The original whammy bar is also included in the sale.
This model is based on a ‘64 Strat and comes from what is regarded
as the golden age of Japanese guitar building. It has a 7.25” radius.
Apart from a few light playing marks and small scuffs on the bottom
edge of the body, the condition is very good. The top machine head
stem has a slight bend, but everything works as it should - including
the truss rod. Weight is 3.5kgs.
It is currently strung with a set of Ernie Ball 9’s.
The sale includes a very good quality Boston padded gig bag for the
guitar and adequate compartments for accessories. Note that there is
a missing zip pull tab on the outermost front slot (see last photo). There
is also some mild rust on the bottom strap rings, which can be easily
removed with the right solvent.
