Absolutely brilliant Eric Johnson Thinline Strat here from 2019. This was part of the Fender Artist series - producing limited runs of guitars in conjunction with the Artist themselves. The build quality and attention to detail in this series is unsurpassed.

You can get the full spec for this guitar by putting the serial number into the Fender Customer Services self service site so I won't bang on about it here. Just to say this is one brilliant Strat and that these are becoming increasingly rare to the market.

The pickups in this Strat are awesome!

This guitar has seen next to no play time so I'm calling it as being in mint condition throughout. If you search super hard against the light, you might find the odd very light sign of use/handling, but you would have to search very hard indeed. There are absolutely no dings or any visible scratches.

The guitar has a nitro finish, so there is some nice lacquer ageing/checking starting on the front and a little at the neck plate when you get it up against the light, which I have tried to capture on the pics - this guitar is going to continue age beautifully. Please note that the checking will develop over time and is a desirable feature of nitro finished guitars. As this has occurred naturally, I feel that it shouldn't impact on the 'mint condition' description.

The neck, headstock and fretboard are all mint.

All hardware is in mint condition and working perfectly.

All electrics are working perfectly and there are no crackles on the pots.

The neck of this guitar is a reasonably chunky soft V at the nut, softening out to more of a C shape at the top end.

Weighs in at just 3.28kgs.

This guitar has just had a full setup, including a fret level/polish. It is playing perfectly, with low and slinky buzz free action. There are guaranteed no issues whatsoever.

So there you go - a great chance to acquire a great playing and great sounding rarity, that will definitely prove to be an investment over time.

When you buy a guitar from me you will get:

- Neck relief set as straight as possible (let me know if you need more or less relief to suit your playing style)
- Nut slot height checked and adjusted where necessary.

- Action set as low as it will go with minimal buzz.

The fretboard cleaned and oiled (rosewood) and the frets properly polished and dressed if necessary. I always look for any high spots on the frets and spot level as part of the polishing process. I will carry out a full fret level where necessary.

I am happy to consider trades if it helps you to acquire this instrument, but they must be realistic and in my favour as in most cases I will be selling on pretty much straight away - so absolutely needs to be worth my while.

You can be confident that I pack guitars very well indeed - the guitar is packed inside the case so that it cannot move and with plenty of support for the neck and headstock. The case is then packed into a large cardboard box and the box is packed and padded out with large bubble wrap and filler so that the guitar is fully protected inside. I am confident that it will be fine even if dropped and have never had a problem. If you do want an insured service please discuss cost with me first.
