Fender SQ series Squier Stratocaster
70s reissue model manufactured in the Fujigen factory Japan circa 1983
The SQ series was a continuation of the Squier JV series.
I've removed the original black paint from the body in the past and refinished it in a clear nitrocellulose coat, the neck is a beautifully comfortable C shape with a 7.25in radius fretboard which has been naturally relic'd by being played over the years so looks/is completely authentic compared to any 4K Fender Custom Shop factory-relic'd Strat IMHO, vintage-style frets which have been dressed during a set-up by a local guitar tech, all electrics working 100%, no trem arm with the guitar and you might want to replace the white switch tip with a black one if you prefer. Comes with an 80s Fender Hardcase which has had a couple of cracks at one edge repaired with bumper filler, not too pretty but the case is solid and all the catches work just fine. Only selling due to a need to downsize my guitar collection so no trades thanks.
