Description
This is a fairly faithful reissue of an early 60’s Jazz Bass, complete with copper earthing strip between the bridge and bridge pickup. This one has only very light play wear and a few light marks, but overall in excellent shape. The strings are pretty old and have some corrosion - I don’t usually swap out bass strings as some folks like them old and dull.
Spec-wise we have an alder body with a 34” maple neck and a very dark 7.25 radius rosewood board. Pickups are Fender US J Bass Vintage, and the overall build quality is excellent as to be expected for a Fender Japan instrument.
I’ve sold plenty of RH Fender Japan stuff, but sadly the choice for the left handed player isn’t as wide, so if you’ve been waiting for a good one now’s your chance. Comes with a sturdy canvas-type gig bag.
