For sale is another super rare guitar. My stunning ESP LTD Mirage Deluxe 1987 Special Run in the ultra‑rare Rainbow Crackle finish.

Released as part of ESP’s 1987 Series tribute collection, this model is a faithful modern recreation of the classic late‑’80s Mirage — complete with genuine Floyd Rose hardware, high‑output Seymour Duncan pickups, and that unmistakable “hair metal” era crackle finish.

The finish on this guitar is absolutely stunning. Looks even better in person, the photos are great, but can't really do it justice.

It’s in excellent condition, has been well cared for, and plays beautifully. This finish was produced in limited numbers, making it one of the most collectible LTD models of recent years.


While ESP first got started in 1975 as a small repair shop in Tokyo, it was really toward the mid ‘80s when our guitars and basses grabbed the attention of players around the world. The LTD ’87 Series are faithful recreations of this set of instruments from ESP’s 1987 catalog. Based on the original ESP Mirage body shape, the LTD Mirage Deluxe ’87 is a bolt-on shred machine with an alder body and three-piece extra thin U-shaped maple neck being made available in Pearl Pink, Turquoise and Rainbow Crackle finishes. These guitars feature a Floyd Rose 1000 bridge and a pickup set that includes a Seymour Duncan Distortion TB-6 (with original style bobbins and a push-pull control to split the coils) in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan Hot Rail single coil in the neck position.
