Electric guitar Cort Z44 and Marshall MG10CF amplifier - both barely used

Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

£180

Email address verified

Description

I bought the Electric guitar Cort Z44 and Marshall MG10CF amplifier new as a gift in 2013. The guitar was barely used at all before being stored at home for the past 12 years. As the photos show, it is in excellent condition, with just a few scuffs and two small marks (too small to be visible in the photos). The Marshall MG10CF Guitar Combo Amplifier was used even less and is in pristine condition.

I AM OFFERING THE GUITAR ALONE FOR £150, THE AMP ALONE FOR £50, OR BOTH TOGETHER FOR £180.

Here is an excerpt from the review of the Z44 by Vintage Guitar magazine (you can read the full article on their website):
“The Z44 is a stylish, modern take on the Les Paul archetype. It has a beefier cutaway, a slightly elongated upper bout, and it adds modern flair with a stylish headstock that has a natural-wood “scoop” at its tip and minimal ornamentation on the fretboard, aside from a composite/mother-of-pearl Z inlay at the 12th fret. Black EMG pickups, natural-wood faux binding, an array of recessed knobs and an unusual, slanted cable-jack insert give it a sleek look and feel. The body is contoured with a gently arched top and back, and comfort cuts provide an ergonomic feel.
This Cort has a set-neck construction and an almost-seamless heel. Materials include a mahogany neck and body, rosewood fingerboard with 22 large frets and a 12″ radius, and a Gibsonesque 243/4″ scale. Other treats include a bridge licensed by Tone Pros, a string-through-body setup, die-cast tuners, and two Volumes, plus a Tone knob with a push/pull coil-tap function. The EMG HZ-H4 is a passive humbucker, unlike its active-powered cousins.”

There are many specialist website reviews of the Marshall MG10CF amp. They highlight its classic Marshall sound, simplicity, portability and suitability for home practice or jamming with friends. As one says, “…there are some amps that stand out in terms of body quality, price, and sound. Marshall MG10CF falls into that category.”

Collection only from Impington, near Cambridge.
