Description
The bass is a Jackson JS 'Minion' concert bass in satin black. The scale length is 28.5 inches, and it is equipped with Jackson P/J pickups. The condition is as almost new, with no dents or scratches. Despite the short scale, I have been able to tune the E string down to D. It is very well made and the neck is snug into the body pocket. It is properly set up and has almost new Newtone strings. It is fitted with straplocks and comes with a strap and stand. It plays and sounds like a normal bass. It comes with the original Jackson instructions and Allen keys. A lead is also included. Andertons of Guilford website provides a further description.
The combo amp is a Gear4Music 25 watt practice amp with an eight inch speaker, which is larger than speakers in similar practice amps. All the controls work as they are supposed to. I have used the amp in a group situation in a large hall. It has been discontinued by Gear4Music and replaced with a 15 watt model.
The price is for the whole package, but I would consider selling the bass as an individual item.
I can deliver between Worcester and Evesham. Otherwise the buyer will have to collect. If collecting, it will be possible to try it out.
