As part of thinning down my guitar collection to just one or two due to largely giving up playing after several decades, I've finally decided to sell my 2012 USA Gibson Les Paul Studio. This is the 'proper' high gloss Nitro version, not to be confused with the various Faded and Tribute thin matt/semi-matt versions. The colour is the slightly warmer vintage white, not an arctic 'fridge' white.

The construction is absolutely faultless and the action is typical of the 2010s era Gibsons, low and buzz free (unlike many later high-end Gibsons I've played). As can be seen it is in superb condition for its age - no cracks/breaks/fretwear etc and the neck is the usual 'modern C' profile which suits the majority of players. Weight is 3.6kg (just under 8lbs) so pretty much perfect for a Les Paul with excellent body/neck balance and a very comfortable weight if playing standing up for long periods.

Cosmetically just a couple of very pale yellow marks to headstock rear where it was rested against some foam for a week (nitro being a natural product, unlike poly varnish, is of course far more susceptible to contact with other materials). These would most likely polish out with a suitable gentle cutting polish paste applied. Any other marks/swirls etc are just reflections - hard to photograph a high gloss guitar without capturing some reflections. The serial number does have Gibson's over zealous use of varnish to a near full depth, plenty of online views around this and it tended to be applied as such to mainly white or black gloss nitro models.

The comparable model today retails at around £1,600-£1,900 looking at Gibson's own website (with the Worn White Studio Modern being the nearest direct comparison at £1,999) so my price looks a pretty good deal I'd say. Especially when many Epiphone Les Pauls now retail at well over £1k, even with just a poly finish.

Collection is in person please due to value/size/weight and I'm just a few minutes drive north of Bedford - I want to ensure the new owner is fully happy with the guitar. It comes complete with its original Gibson USA padded gigbag as pictured. I have a practice amp to demonstrate the guitar.
