Description
One of the last 3 bolt neck bullet truss rod Strats which dates from 1981. It was originally red but sometime in the last 40 odd years it was stripped to a natural finish. Has previously been routed for a pair of humbuckers but now has what I believe to be the original pickups fitted again - the pots,cap and wiring is all new The neck and body match by serial number but I think the scratch plate is not original The guitar has lacquer wear in the neck and patina elsewhere consistent with its age but no nasty dents or other issues, it is solid, has a great low action and sounds fantastic - despite what some people say about CBS Strats this one is a good player and I’ve gigged with it without issue A chance to get a vintage player grade guitar at a sensible price - comes with a good condition 90’s/00’s Fender chainsaw ABS case
