Description
This is my Dobro DM33H. The serial number dates it to 1978 - it has the small "F" holes of the early OMI period.
This is a guitar that has been played for nearly 50 years, in good condition.
OMI was the company set up by the Dopera Brothers at the beginning of the 70's to start making Dobros again, and this guitar comes from that time.
These guitars are very sought after and increasing in value, when you play this one you will understand why.
The guitar has a plated bell brass body, the neck is straight, frets are good, the tuners work smoothly and it keeps in tune well. It is set up with quite a low action for finger picking. It sounds as good as you would expect.
The guitar comes with what i assume to be the original case as looks old but the latches work and the guitar is held in place securely.
