A lovely 1976 Yamaha FG-301, made in Japan and now around 50 years old. A proper vintage Yamaha acoustic with the character, looks and feel you’d expect from a well-kept instrument of this age.

Most importantly, it plays beautifully, the wood has opened up .and it has a boom that some modern guitars haven’t. The neck is straight as a die and the action is perfect, making it extremely comfortable to play right across the fretboard.

The guitar presents very nicely for its age, with attractive natural ageing and honest signs of use. The original-style Yamaha FG-301 label is clearly visible inside.

These are renowned for being extremely well made and robust.
