Volunteer: Family Legal / Mediation Support Worker

Are you a legal professional passionate about achieving lasting social impact?
Generations Connect, a small UK charity dedicated to helping estranged families rebuild relationships, is expanding its professional network. We are seeking caring, reliable, and legally minded volunteers to join our mission as Volunteer Family Legal / Mediation Supports and Network Ambassadors.
Because this role involves facilitating highly sensitive family mediations and navigating delicate communication boundaries, a legal background or foundational mediation skills are strictly required. If you possess deep empathy, patience, and a structural drive to make a tangible difference in the lives of children, parents, and grandparents, we welcome your application.

What You’ll Do (Role & Membership Engagement)
• Facilitate & Support: Assist families directly through phone, virtual, or secure online mediation channels.
• Case Coordination and Rebuilding Futures: Help with vital administrative tasks, precise case logging, and structured family communication adjustments. Play an immediate, direct role in healing deep family disconnects and securing structurally safer, happier outcomes for children.
• Network Advocacy: Serve as a friendly, professional primary point of contact and actively champion the charity's core mission within your personal and professional legal circles.
• Fundraising Activities: Manage corporate fundraising activities.
• Lobbying Activities: Participate in lobbying activities to raise awareness of Generations Connect and implement new legislation.
