Vintage Switzerland Bière du Cardinal 1-pint stoneware beer stein

Description

Up for sale is 1x vintage Bière du Cardinal 50ml / 1-pt stoneware beer stein.

The location is N4, Hackney, north London.

Cardinal is a Swiss brand of beer and a former brewery that was founded in 1788 by François Piller in the medieval city of Fribourg in western Switzerland.

The flagship beer of the Cardinal brand in Switzerland is a pale lager called Cardinal Blonde.

The stein’s capacity is half a litre (50ml) or just over one pint. It is made from stoneware pottery.

The stein measures as follows:

-Height: 13cm / 5.125”
-Diameter: 8.5cm / 3.375”
-Weight: 668g / 24oz

The stein is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. It does have some very faint lines on its outside.

The stein belonged to my late dad and is at least 40 years old, probably older. For the last 40 years the stein stood on a shelf in the kitchen at his home and was used as a pen pot.

The beer stein sells as is. No returns.

UK postage is £4.25 via Royal Mail 48-hour tracked delivery (small parcel).

I will pack the beer stein securely with bubble wrap to keep her safe and sound in the post.
