Description
This lovely drinking glass was made to commemorate them winning The Queens Award For Enterprise in the Innovation category in 2003. It is thus rare and collectible.
It is of top quality construction thus very heavy and sturdy. It is a clear glass tumbler thus cylindrical in shape and short in height. It has a thick base. It has an engraving to both sides (I have tried to make the engraving visible via placing coloured tissue inside the glass for the photographs). The first is topped with the logo of the awards and writing beneath which reads "The Queens Awards For Enterprise: Innovation 2003". Beneath that is written BAE SYSTEMS within the rectangle that is it's logo. The other side shows a further logo and has writing which reads "Si VSG Silicon Gyro".
It would be a welcome addition to any mantlepiece or display unit. It could be appreciated by any ex or current employee of BAE Systems or collector of rekated memorabilia. It would also suit a lover of commemorative glassware. It would make an ideal gift to self or others.
It is in immaculate pre-owned condition. From a smoke free house. Buyer must collect from Chepstow, Monmouthshire or Brixham or Totnes in Devon at an agreed time. Alternatively, I am happy to package and post for the associated costs.
