LARGE OVAL HANDMADE WICKER BASKET PLANT CONTAINER. USED

This charming hand woven brown wicker table top plant container is an attractive oval shape and would look beautiful when filled with flowers, ferns, herbs or bulbs.

The large size of this classic rustic basket enables one to create a stunning display, and its timeless design would blend nicely in both traditional and modern settings.

Approximate size to the outer edges: 36 cm x 26.5 cm.

Approximate width of planting area: variable between 8 cm and 11.5 cm (there is an open oval feature in the middle of the basket).

Approximate height: 12 cm.

The basket is lined with thick black plastic to hold compost in place and help retain moisture.

It is advisable not to place the basket directly onto furniture.

Although intended for use indoors, it could be used in the garden – in which case it would need to be protected from bad weather otherwise it would gradually rot.

This is a private sale from a smoke and pet free home.

I purchased this item a few years ago, when it was filled with bulbs which had been forced to flower at Christmas. Once they had gone over the basket was emptied and since then it has been stored in a clean, dry environment away from sunlight. Consequently the planter is still in good, albeit used, condition. As I also have another one I have decided to sell this basket in order to free up some space.

I would prefer the Buyer to collect please. However, if essential I would be willing to send this basket to a location within mainland United Kingdom, at the Buyer's own risk and cost, using Gumtree's delivery process. Regret no returns accepted. Thank you.
