Pair of Decorative Cast Iron Garden Bench Ends – Restoration Project
Grangemouth, Falkirk
1 / 9
Description
Pair of matching decorative cast iron garden bench ends/arms from an old garden bench.
Lovely scroll design and traditional shape. The metalwork has previously been painted black with metal paint and is still solid, although there is some chipped paint, surface rust and weathering around the old fixing points, as shown in the photos.
The original slats had deteriorated and were removed. Some of the original metal support/connecting pieces are included, but not all parts needed to rebuild the bench are present, so this is being sold as a restoration or upcycling project.
Ideal for someone looking to make a new garden bench using replacement timber slats and suitable supports/fixings.
I’ve also included a photo of the bench when it was previously assembled, purely to show how it looked originally.
£30 ono – collection only.
