About Us

Our Forgotten Neighbours is a community-focused organisation working to support people experiencing homelessness and hardship. We carry out regular outreach and fundraising activities to help provide practical support to people in need.

The Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly Fundraisers to join our team. You will be speaking with members of the public, raising awareness about our work and encouraging donations to support our community projects.

Responsibilities:

Approach members of the public in a friendly and professional manner
Explain our work and fundraising activities
Encourage donations and support
Represent Our Forgotten Neighbours positively
Work as part of a team
Attend agreed fundraising locations and events
Follow our fundraising and cash-handling procedures

What We’re Looking For:

Friendly and confident personality
Good communication skills
Positive attitude
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable speaking to members of the public
Fundraising or sales experience is helpful but not essential
Full training and guidance provided
