About the Role

Our Forgotten Neighbours is looking for enthusiastic, friendly and reliable people to join our team and help us raise awareness and vital funds to support our community work.

You will be involved in approaching businesses, shops, shopping centres, community organisations and local venues to arrange fundraising opportunities and build positive relationships on behalf of Our Forgotten Neighbours.

Key Responsibilities

Contact local businesses, retailers and community organisations to arrange fundraising opportunities.
Speak with store managers, community champions and venue representatives.
Help organise charity bucket collections and fundraising events.
Attend fundraising activities and represent Our Forgotten Neighbours professionally.
Promote the charity and explain our work to members of the public.
Build and maintain positive relationships with businesses and community partners.
Keep records of contacts, applications and fundraising opportunities.
Support social media and promotional activities when required.
What We're Looking For
Friendly, confident and approachable personality.
Good communication and people skills.
Reliable and professional attitude.
Comfortable speaking to businesses and members of the public.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Fundraising, sales, retail or community experience is useful but not essential.
Passion for helping others and making a positive difference in the community.
