DRUMMER WANTED!…ESSEX 50’s/60’s ROCKNROLL BAND

Hi, Essex based mature gigging 50’s/60’s ROCKNROLL BAND seeking very experienced drummer,M/F.

We do about 15-20 gigs a year mostly at social clubs, (but occasionally also RocknRoll Clubs/festival/private functions etc..)
Nearly all in social clubs though-we try to avoid the pub scene.

Shows are in Essex mostly, but also occasionally East London/North Kent/South Suffolk, so please bear these locations in mind as you’d need to be prepared to travel to them.
Basically Essex and surrounding.

Bookings throughout this year inc. Xmas Eve plus have already got 11 or 12 booked for ‘27, including a couple of RocknRoll Weekenders at Skegness & Hemsby.
Also have some booked for ‘28!

Practice is usually at Control Rooms Brentwood,or only very occasionally at Card Trick Chelmsford.
Mostly at Control Rooms these days though..

Sound wise, we’re more a ‘rocky’ type band rather than a quieter melodic rocknroll group, so best to bear that in mind.

But it’s all the great RocknRoll songs plus a few surprises. We also play some great rockabilly tunes like Matchbox etc in our set..

Really only looking for someone who knows and likes this type of music though, so if you may be interested..please only reply if you’re into 50’s/60’s RocknRoll.

A drummer friend of the band has been helping us out lately, but looking to push on & seek a permanent member to make up the four.
Someone reliable who will practice/learn the songs at home BEFORE rehearsals!

Serious about the music,but we like a laugh too.
